
Two Bensalem women decided ย in the middle of West Cabot Boulevard that ย it was time for a cat fight Wednesday morning ย and mix it up they did, in the middle of a ย busy intersection in the Langhorne section of Falls Township, according to authorities.
A Falls Township Police officer was ย parked at the busy intersection close to the Holiday Inn Express waiting for Vanessa Perskin, 30, ย to receive a complaint. Subsequent to her arrival, ย she began to explain a prior incident to Officer Kevin Gribbon, ย court documents say.

The second ย woman, Danielle Voight, 27, rode by, and as she did, both women exchanged words. Voight exited her vehicle and the women approached each other, as the officer demanded they stop, court records say.

As the women came closer together Officer Gribbon demanded they stop several ย more times, which ย each ignored, coming ย together in the middle of the boulevard attacking each other by punching and pulling each others hair, police say.

Officer Gribbon attempted to pull them apart but was unable to, ย so he requested additional police units to assist, and they arrived quickly, with authorities bringing the women ย under control, the affidavit of probable cause says.
Officer Gribbon specifically noted for the court ย how “dangerous” it was for the women to be fighting when “a large volume of truck and car traffic’” are present at 10 a.m. in the area.

Each women was charged with reckless endangerment, simple assault, disorderly conduct, ย and other associated charges.
Perskin and Voight were released on their own recognizance according to online court records. ย Both scheduled for a preliminary hearing in front of District Court Judge Jan Volosky on July 2.
In addition to the above, LevittownNow must note that two days prior to the incident on May 30, defendant Voight, according to online court documents, ย was issued a summons on a ย harassment charge. ย No other information about that incident was available at press time.
