Fire Crews Respond to Blaze on Wood Street

Just before 3 p.m. on Memorial Day, fire crews from around the area responded to a fire in the 200 block of Wood Street in Bristol Borough.

Witnesses reported heavy smoke emanating from a house on the street. Firefighters worked to contain the fire, they said.

The address of the fire is reported to be across the street from the Bristol Fire Company station.
