Kyle Robinson, 21, David Nolan, 21, and Michael McKernan, 20, all of Bristol Township, are charged with second-degree felony burglary, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. The charges were upgraded from a third-degree felony due to the fact the burglary happened during a State of Emergency declared by the governor, according to court documents.

As Hurricane Sandy bore down on the region at about 10:30 p.m. on October 29, the alarm system at the Walgreens in the 5200 block of New Falls Road was tripped, court documents report.

Police said they responded and found the store was burglarized; cartons and individual packs of cigarettes were stolen. According to court documents, a responding officer reported that the suspects had broken in a side window with rocks near the entrance doors.
