Police officers responded for a report of a man with a possible handgun at an apartment complex on Monday, instead they found suspected crack cocaine “in the area of his testicles,” police said.
Dennis Davis Jr., 27, of Philadelphia was arrested and charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance, possession and possession with drug paraphernalia.

Police arrived at the apartments at 9:08 a.m. and made contact with Davis, where they informed him officers were planning a “thorough search” of him, according to court documents. After being advised, police said the 27-year-old removed a plastic bag containing a “white rock like substance from the area of his testicles.”
Davis then said the suspected drugs were the only item on his body and that the bag contained about 5 grams of crack cocaine, police said.

During an interview with investigators, Davis said he had the suspected drugs on him to sell for a profit, police said. The suspect was reported to have told the police he does not use crack cocaine and never has.
Davis said he bought the suspected crack cocaine for $315 and planned to make a profit of $700 to $800, according to police. He added that selling drugs is his only means of income.

Police said the suspected crack cocaine is set to be analyzed by the Bucks County Crime Laboratory.
Davis was arraigned and sits in Bucks County Prison on 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
