On May 21st we ask that you support our TEAM.  As a TEAM we plan to restore democracy, “a government of the people, by the people, and for the people”.

Bristol is beautiful, but it’s time that we start putting its people first.

If elected to council among other things, we hope to:

  • Ordain a fair, equitable, and transparent council that allows for the free exchange of ideas from council members and residents.
  • Adopt term limits for President and Vice-President of council, preventing any one person or group from control.
  • Expand Recreation for borough residents and youth. Take advantage of the Grundy Recreation Center and make it more accessible for borough residents. Among other things we envision a youth football program, street hockey league, skate park and adult basketball.
  • Promote & Support business growth on Mill St. and throughout the borough.
  • Require council members to hold quarterly meetings with their constituents, to allow the voicing of concerns and ideas.
  • Establish a strategic plan for the Simon and Schuster property, with a combination of residential and light commercial.
  • Put an end to wasteful and excessive spending. Focus on projects that benefit the majority of the people in town.
  • Establish a closer working relationship with our school board to help manage the tax burden.

We believe we have assembled a group of individuals who can “Take Bristol Back” and put its people first. As a TEAM our candidates, some being Mill Street business owners, collectively have first-hand experience and ideas to support the revitalization of Mill Street, years of experience working in recreation with youth, and ALL understand personally the need for fiscal responsibility and accountability. We believe all of this can be accomplished in a respectful professional manner.
