Truman Students Take Part in March for Babies

The Harry S. Truman High School March of Dimes Science Club recently took part in the Bucks County March for Babies on April 29 at Bucks County Community College’s Newtown campus.

The group raised funds to help research for premature babies. According to the district, club members helped entertained children at the march by painting faces and making balloon animals. The students also served food.

Over the course of the school year, club members toured the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Abington Memorial Hospital and Shriner Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia.
The students also organized fundraisers in Bristol Township schools and throughout the community.
