For months I wondered when would a full service breakfast stop would open on Mill Street in Bristol Borough.
Then viola! Long behold, not only was one opening, but a family with a 44 year tradition of providing “great foods” to Bristolian’s appeared , just beyond where the old Angelo’s Pizza used to be.

This time it’s called Angelo’s Place!
It was the old meeting the new, in a re-acquainting for many with service, family and tasty menu items,
The family that used to come to your door delivering pizza that many have missed since the pizzeria closed some years ago, is now doing breakfast and lunch.

It’s a family effort, again, Father Giovanni Gigante (also known as “Angelo,”) Daughter, Daniella Alfaro, and Son John Gigante opened the eatery for business only some days ago.
Affordable, friendly, and quality service, with waitresses on the ready, the atmosphere of the newly opened breakfast lunch spot has been welcomed with open arms by the community.

Alfaro, who in addition to co-owning, has another job, said “It was time for us to do this again. My father, isn’t used to working for other people, he’s used to running the restaurant, and through some discussion we decided to do this once again. What took so long was finding the right space in the right location, and when we saw this spot open up, here on Mill St., we jumped at the opportunity.
Well wishers all of last week, walked in embracing the family and welcoming them back to the place where serving fine food began for them.
Elizabeth Stabb and Jim Coons of Levittown came right after church to eat, both agreeing, that the service and food were good.

We know the family, and today was the perfect day to be here. After this we checking out the car show, we love the events on Mill St and now we have a place to go for breakfast right after services are done,” said Stabb smiling.
John D, said, I know the food, I know the family, so yea I’m going to eat here, instead of some other place where I’m treated differently, it makes a big difference when owners have been in the community before, or you’ve tasted the food from other places they have owned.

Asked whether going back to making pizza was something to look forward to, “Its part of long-range plan,” said Alfaro, “but for now, this is what we’re focused on, letting people know we’re open, here, and ready to serve tasty food at affordable prices,” she said as one more patron greeted her with a hug.
