Bristol Township residents will have the opportunity to build one this weekend. And here is the catch; You’ll be using one-gallon milk jugs to work with.
It’s all a part of the Township’s First Annual Earth Day Event at the James J.A. Gallagher Senior Center in the municipal complex Saturday.

Festivities will run from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. The Rain date is Sunday.
“We hope this re-use project will not only be fun for children and residents, but will also make them think twice about creative ways to re-use or recycle items that would otherwise end up in landfills” said Bill McCauley, Bristol Township manager.
Wawa is donating some 500 mislabeled or damaged 1-gallon milk jugs that can no longer be used.

Residents are also being asked to bring 1 gallon milk, juice or water jugs to the event.
The free event will also feature family friendly activities such as a children’s petting zoo, a special unveiling of the township’s rain garden, and tours of a SEPTA hybrid bus.
