Angelo Capria, 23, of Chalfont, sounds an ex-boyfriend from hell.
According to an affidavit of probable cause filed Thursday, Capria is accused of sending nude photos of his ex-girlfriend, a Middletown resident, to nearly 400 of her peers at Temple University. He also is said to have set fire to vehicles at the home she shares with her parents in the 60 block of Teal Drive.

The relationship started to go south on Dec. 31, 2010. According to police, Capria become upset when his girlfriend did not want to spend New Year’s Eve with him because she was at a female friend’s home. In response, police say Capria drove around looking for his girlfriend, called her over 100 times, left “obscene” voicemails and told her he was going to dump all her belongings outside.
During an argument in the following days, Capria threw her out of his house, threw a snow shovel at her and an end table, too. He also is alleged to have texted her saying he was going out to get drunk and drive, blaming it on her, police said.
The victim told police that when she would try to end her relationship with the young man, he would say he was going to kill himself and leave a note blaming her. The young man also threatened to release nude photographs of her.

Things appear to have turned even worse when the relationship ended.
In the summer of 2011, Capria sent messages through Facebook to his ex-girlfriend, police said.
- “Ur gonna get exactly what u deserve bitch”
- “ur going to be popular at temple this year. bye”

Capria continued his assault on the victim and her family via the internet throughout the rest of 2011.
Through Facebook comments, police report Capria called a member of the family a “wife beater” and “faggot.” He referred to one family member as a “cheating cig smoking c*nt of a wife,” police said.
The victim told investigators she last talked to Capria in August 2011.

In August 2011, the victim’s mother filed a report with Middletown authorities about the threats. She informed an officer her daughter was informed by a Temple University student who she did not know that an email containing nude photos was sent around campus, police said.

Taunts about an upcoming protection from abuse case were also made to the victim in September 2011, police said.
On Sept. 4, 2011, the threats turned into action, authorities said. The family of the victim reported the right rear tired of their SUV was punctured and leaking air. Witnesses reported seeing a short white male run from the drive of the Teal Drive home and flee in a green Kia vehicle, police said.

More than a month later, on Oct. 21, 2012, police and fire officials responded to a vehicle fire at the home in the early morning hours. They arrived to find two vehicles suffering fire damage and minor impact to the home, Fire Marshal James McGuire said.
The victim’s mother spoke with Levittown Patch hours after the fire and called the blaze “upsetting.” She added that police had urged her not to comment on the fire.

Investigators said they reviewed surveillance footage from the house that displayed a male figure walking up the driveway and placing an object – later identified as a bent clothes hanger with a rag wrapped around it – in the gas tank of one of the vehicles. Police said the man in the video then set the object ablaze.
Upon later inspection of the video, police wrote that the suspect walks out of camera frame as the vehicle, a Jeep Wrangler, burned. He then disappeared and a vehicle matching the description of the one from the September tire puncture incident is spotted driving away, police said.
Authorities said a 2011 Kia is registered to Capria.

Capria’s ex-girlfriend believes he is the man in the video based on his unusual gait, police said.
Police served search warrants on Capria’s belongings which revealed 10 nude photographs of his ex-girlfriend he captured without her permission during a Skype chat when they were dating. They also uncovered cell phone data that showed the suspect in the direct area of the victim’s neighborhood.

On the day his phone was seized by investigators, Capria posted on Facebook, “nobody text me or call me, long story, wont have my phone for awhile. leave ur number so i can still get in contact with u.”
Penndel Police Chief Joseph Sciscio, a recognized expert in computer forensics, analyzed GPS data obtained from Capria’s devices in November and uncovered he had Teal Drive saved. The map, according to police, was listed as “His Work in Progress.”
Several other locations and a photo of a fire were also discovered, police said. Authorities added that Capria had recently visited crime news and government websites relating to police reports several times following the fire.
