A 53-year-old Levittown man is charged with misdemeanor counts of incident assault and disorderly conduct after an alleged unwanted sexual encounter with a homeless woman at a shelter in Bristol Township.

The victim said the man picked the homeless woman, who often stays in her car, from the parking lot of the Bucks County library off New Falls Road at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, police said. She told police the man gave her a ride after her car broke down at the library.

The man drove the woman to the United Christan Church on New Falls Road, which is a Code Blue shelter.

Once at the church, he pulled out his phone and began showing her pornographic images, the victim told police. She also told investigators the man stated he wanted to do what he saw in the video with her and more.

At that point, according to court documents, the 53-year-old put his hand down her shirt and her pants next. He is alleged to have put his finger in her vagina, police said.

The victim told police she asked him to stop but he was “persistent and getting worse,” a criminal complaint read. Every time the victim unlocked the door, she said the man would lock it from the driver’s side, police stated.

When an officer arrived, according to documents, the woman got out of the man’s vehicle. Two other men were reported by the responding officer to have been in the car when he arrived at 9:10 p.m.

The man was charged and was not sent to county jail based on the misdemeanor charges. He is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing District Judge Robert Wagner in May.
