Fox Sues Kucher Over Signs


TullytownFormer Tullytown Councilman George Fox late last week filed a civil suit against Tullytown Councilwoman Mae Kucher ย for $360 plus court costs in the civil filing.

According to court documents filed with District Judge Robert L. Wagner Jr., defendant Mae Kucher on September 8, 2012 removed and took into herย possession 12 “TullytownNews.com” ย signs from various locations in and around Tullytown Borough.

“I’ve lost my job, my benefits and have been turned down for unemployment. ย I only want what it cost me to make the signs that she removed illegally,” Fox said in a phone interview ย late last week.

On Monday, Kucher informed the court of her intent to respond to the suit ย in a hearing set for April 23 at 9:30 a.m.

Attempts to reach ย the councilwoman for comment have gone unsuccessful.

The sign story and the battle going on between different factions of democrats in Tullytown has been ย ongoing since “she decided she can do what she wants, Fox said.

Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler, found ย Kucherย committedย no ย crimes ย by removing the signs, and wished Tullytown officials would ย stop taking up his time so he could focus on real investigations local media outlets reported.
