The body found in the woods of a New Jersey town last year was identified as a Levittown woman on Wednesday.
Falls Township resident Molly Lynch was reported missing to local police in April of 2012. Her remains were found by two people in a wooded area near an ATV trail in Pemberton, Burlington County last June, officials said.
The 22-year-old’s death has been ruled a homicide by unspecified means, according to a report in the Burlington County Times. The investigation into her death is on-going.
The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, Pemberton police and the New Jersey State Police released a forensic sketch of the victim and dental records last Tuesday in an effort to help uncover the identity of the remains.
