The Black Team was victorious during the 65th anniversary of Pennsbury High School’s Sports Nite.

High school juniors and seniors carried on the traditional event through skits, cheerleading, dances, artwork, a food drive, relays, costumes, and team organization.
The theme for the 2013 event was “It’s That Time of Year Again.” Students celebrated yearly highlights like flue season, birthdays, fire prevention week and many more.
The festivities started Friday and with a jammed packed finale Saturday night Charles Boehm Middle School.

The 2013 Sports Nite Queen was Sara Vrancik. Sports Nite Queen Finalists included Priya Crain, Jeanie Davey, Alyssa Fusillo, and Joy Hopkins. Overall Captains for the Orange team were Sara Sargent and Bryan Goelz; overall Captains for Black were Taylor Johnson and Chris Harrah. Sports Nite Co-Directors were teachers Patti Merrick and George Gounaris. The Administrative Coordinator was Dr. David Patterson, Assistant Principal and Curriculum Coordinator for Health & Physical Education
