Scafidi said New Britain police are involved because their detective works on federal, state and local task forces to uncover child pornography file sharing. He added that the department has several means to uncover distribution of illegal images and videos.
Fenster was arraigned Friday morning before District Judge Charles Baum and released on $50,000 unsecured bail.
