Investigators ID 18 Year Old Killed In Shooting

The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office on Friday released the name of the 18-year-old man shot and killed Tuesday night in Falls Township.

Yusuf McNeal, 18, of Philadelphia, died after being taken from the shooting scene at the Commons at Fallsington off Makefield Road in Falls Township’s Morrisville section to Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol Township in a personal vehicle. He suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead.

Three other teens – boys ages 15, 16, and 17 – were also shot but survived. They were taken by a personal vehicle to Jefferson Bucks Hospital and received treatment. Their condition as of Friday was not available.

The district attorney’s office said the investigation into the shooting was ongoing.

Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, police were at the Commons at Fallsington for reports of several people struck by gunfire. Around the same time, they were dispatched to the hospitals based upon information that people with gunshot wounds had arrived for treatment.

The shooting happened during a dispute between two groups, police have said.

A vehicle believed to be connected to the one of the groups was located at the Alexandria Apartments off Plaza Boulevard not far from the shooting scene, police said.

As of Friday afternoon, no charges have been filed in connection with the shooting.
