A police investigation into the shooting that hurt several people was underway as of early Wednesday morning in Falls Township.

In a statement, township police advised residents the multiple-victim shooting was being probed and there was “no threat to public safety.”
The exact number of people shot was not released, but it was between three and four, police sources said.
Initial reports from around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday were that several people were shot, with several arriving at Jefferson Bucks Hospital. Shell casings were located at the Commons at Fallsington.

Around 10 p.m., police from Langhorne Borough, Lower Makefield Township, Middletown Township, and Yardley Borough were outside Jefferson Bucks Hospital’s emergency department entrance as an ambulance left.
Falls Township police had two crime scenes established. One scene was toward the rear of the Commons at Fallsington apartments off Makefield Road and the back of the Penn’s Point development and the second at the Alexandria Apartments off Plaza Boulevard in the Morrisville section of the township.

Township and county district attorney’s office detectives were spotted at the Commons at Fallsington apartments. They appeared to be searching the ground for evidence and mapping the scene.
An official said investigators had spoken to witnesses at the Commons at Fallsington.
