The Romano’s Macaroni Grill in Falls Township has closed its doors.
The Romano’s Macaroni Grill at the Court at Oxford Valley off Oxford Valley Road closed for business on Monday. A former employee said the closure was permanent and connected to other closures in the company.

An email provided by a LevittownNow.com reader shows a company official confirming the closure is final.
The Falls Township Romano’s Macaroni Grill location was taken off the company’s listing of locations along with locations in Colonie, New York, and Greenville, New York.
The Denver-based Italian chain opened in Falls Township about 20 years ago. In the summer months, it would routinely be packed with Sesame Place visitors.

The Falls Township location was damaged by a duct fire connected to a pizza oven in 2015. The eatery reopened shortly after.
In 2017, Romano’s Macaroni Grill filed for bankruptcy and emerged a few months later.

Romano’s Macaroni Grill operates more than 80 locations across the nation. It was founded by Phil Romano, who created the Fuddruckers chain of restaurants.
