A van crashed through the front of a nail salon in Penndel Borough.
The van smashed through the front wall and glass window of the Sandy’s Nails on the Penndel Shopping Center around 9:40 a.m. Thursday. The van ended up nearly in the rear of the location.

Penndel Chief of Police Sean Perry said the normally-busy salon was not open at the time. No one was inside the store and the van driver refused medical treatment.
The crash appeared to be caused by a broken brake line and several other lesser factors, Perry said.
As of noon, crews were working to clean up the damaged storefront.
