Rita’s Offering Free Water Ice For First Day Of Spring

Spring has sprung and that means Bensalem-headquartered Rita’s Italian Ice locations will be offering free water ice.

The company with locations around the country and now the globe will offer a free water ice cups to help welcome spring. This year marks the 27th anniversary of the event.

Here’s a list of area Rita’s locations:

  • 8621 New Falls Road, Levittown
  • 409 Bristol Pike, Croydon
  • 2382 Durham Road, Langhorne
  • 448 West Lincoln Highway, Penndel

Rita’s plans to give out more than one million cups of their classic water ice.

Former Philadelphia firefighter Bob Tumolo started Rita’s in Bensalem in 1984. Since then, the company has been sold and expanded with stores across the globe.
