The man, a Middletown resident in his early 60s, may have suffered a medical event that caused his death. The forklift he was using at the time knocked several boxes onto the ground near where his body was found, Chief of Police Joseph Bartorilla said.

Langhorne-Middletown Fire Company Chief Frank Farry told LevittownNow.com that firefighters were not needed to remove any heavy debris or equipment.

The man’s co-workers found him shortly after the incident and contacted 9-1-1, Bartorilla said.

Police are investigating the death, but no foul play is suspected, the police chief said.

Fire Marshal Jim McGuire said Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) had been called to assist in the investigation.
