Police said Thursday night that they are worried Harry F. Lawrence III of Yardley could have sexually assaulted more children over the years his wife operated Little Joys Day Care. Lt. Hank Ward said the day care previously operated in Bristol Township and later on Vernon Road in Falls Township’s Morrisville section.

After the initial investigation, two more probes into the center have been opened by Falls authorities, police said.

“These assaults happened approx ten years ago so if anyone had their children in this day care please speak to them and see if they have been victimized by this subject,” Ward told LevittownNow.com.

Lawrence is accused of having numerous skin to skin contacts with the girl in early 2000s. Police said the girl, who is now in early 20s, told them Lawrence penetrated her vagina with his finger in one sexual assault that happened in the basement of the day care.

Lawrence was charged several felonies including aggravated sexual assault of a child, contact with a minor, indecent assault on a person less than 13 years old and related offenses. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County prison on 10 percent of $250,000 bail.
