Firefighters extinguished a small kitchen fire Sunday morning in Bristol Borough.

Crews were dispatched to the home in the 300 block of Brook Stree tat 6:07 a.m. for reports of a dwelling fire, according to Bristol Borough Fire Chief Herb Slack.
At the residence, crews found a small fire located in a kitchen ceiling fan, the chief said.
Firefighters, according to Slack, isolated the power supply to the unit, put out the flames, and ventilated the home.

The fire was confined to the immediate area surrounding the fan, Slack said.
No injuries or further damage were reported.
Firefighters cleared the scene in less than an hour.

The Bristol Consolidated Fire Company, Bristol Fire Company, Goodwill Hose Company, and American Hose, Hook, and Ladder Company responded to the scene.
