Middletown Township will host a 1970s-themed fall community day this weekend.
The “Groovin’ at the Gates” event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, from noon to 5 p.m.

The event will featured live music, food trucks, and family activities at Forsythia Crossing Park in the Levittown section.
Attendees are encouraged to wear 1970s attire to compete in the township’s first costume contest, with a prize awarded for the most “far-out” outfit.
The Seven Band will perform during the festivities.

In addition to music, the park will host local artisans, food trucks, and a selection of beer and wine. Family-oriented entertainment includes inflatable attractions, yard games, face painting, and balloon twisting.
Township officials announced three off-site parking areas for event attendees:
Middletown Senior Center, 2140 Trenton Rd., Levittown, PA 19056 (restroom facilities available on-site).
Albert Schweitzer Elementary School, 1 Heartwood Turn, Levittown, PA 19056 (entrance located off Heartwood Turn).
Carl Sandburg Middle School, 30 Harmony Rd., Levittown, PA 19056 (entrance located at the intersection of Hay Road and Harmony Road).
