Delaware River Flooding Possible Due To Nor’easter

A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for Lower Bucks County through Thursday night as an approaching nor’easter threatens the region.

Minor flooding is anticipated along the Delaware River during afternoon high tides.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said they expect the elevated tide risks to last through at least Friday along the river.

“Do not drive through flooded roads and do not park your vehicle in flood prone areas,” the National Weather Service cautioned in a statement.

For Lower Bucks County, weather conditions are expected to stay partly cloudy with a continuing chance of rain showers through the end of the weekend.

Moderate coastal flooding, strong winds, and rain is predicted along New Jersey and Delaware shore points through the weekend as a result of the coastal storm.
