At least three people were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning following a four-vehicle crash at a busy intersection.

Crews responded around 9 a.m. to the crash at New Falls and Durham roads on the border of Bristol and Middletown townships.
Emergency responders on the scene were forced to cut the door off a sedan to rescue its driver, who was trapped inside.
The crash forced police to close the busy intersection for a period while tow trucks cleared the damaged vehicles from the intersection.

Middletown Township police are investigating the cause of the wreck.
