Three scrapped cars got one final and unexpected run on the road Tuesday afternoon in Bristol Township.

Around 2:50 p.m. on Route 13 at the I-95/Pennsylvania Turnpike ramps, three vehicles left a truck hauling them and snarled traffic just ahead of the evening rush hour.
The three crushed vehicles ended up on the busy highway after a cable on the transport truck snapped, Bristol Township Police Sgt. Jason Mancuso said.
No other vehicles were involved in the mishap, and police reported no injuries.

Township police blocked traffic surrounding the area while crews worked to clear the wreckage from the roadway.
The scene was fully cleared by 5:30 p.m.
