The incident kicked off at 10:29 p.m. when troopers attempted to pull over a 2008 Chrysler traveling northbound on Route 1 in Middletown Township, near the Bensalem Township border, state police said in a press release.
The 51-year-old driver refused to pull over and started the chase that spanned several miles along the highway, troopers said.
The pursuit came to an end when the woman stopped her vehicle on the Route 1 exit ramp to Oxford Valley Road, state police said.
Troopers stated the woman was taken into custody after the vehicle stopped.
