

Two crashes in Middletown Township brought out police officers, firefighters, and ambulance crews Thursday.
A morning crash on Durham Road involved one vehicle, whose driver lost control and struck a bridge.

The driver was unhurt and the vehicle was driven from the scene, said police Lt. Zack Brosius.
The second crash happened in the early evening on Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in the area of Red Rose Way and Cobalt Ridge Drive South.

One vehicle rolled over and struck a tree on the side of the road in the Levittown section of the township with a driver and child in the car.

Brosius said the driver and child were transported to a local hospital for evaluation, but they suffered no serious injuries.
The Middletown Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services, William Penn Fire Company, and Levittown Fire Company No. 2 responded, along with the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad.
