Bristol Township police are investigating a pair of crimes in that involve the same vehicle.

At approximately 1:22 a.m. on Friday, Bristol Township officers responded to reports of shots fired from a vehicle on the 3600 block of Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in the Levittown section.
Minutes later, a driver approached officers investigating an unrelated matter to report his vehicle had been targeted.
The driver told police he had been following a black Kia Forte after a “suspicious occurrence” at his residence.

According to the police, a passenger in the Kia fired multiple shots at his vehicle as they traveled on New Falls Road near Woerner Avenue in the township.
Officers confirmed the driver’s account after looking at bullet damage to his vehicle.
No one was hurt in the shooting, police said.

At approximately 3 a.m., police in a neighboring municipality located the Kia Forte and initiated a traffic stop.
The driver was detained without incident and interviewed at Bristol Township Police Headquarters. No charges have been filed as of Friday afternoon, police said.

The Bristol Township Police Department Criminal Investigations Division has since linked the vehicle to an armed robbery that occurred Thursday at 6:51 p.m. in the Magnolia Hills neighborhood in Levittown.
No one was injured in the robbery.
