Bryan Christopher Williams, 31, of Philadelphia, was taken into custody around 7:30 a.m. at a relative’s home on Kingston Street in the city by the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force.

Williams was arrested without incident by federal authorities and was then turned over to Bucks County officials, Supervisory Deputy Marshal Robert Clark said.

Williams was wanted on a Bucks County warrant filed this week on charges of rape of a child, rape by forcible compulsion, statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, corruption of minors, and related offenses.

During a preliminary arraignment, District Judge Daniel Baranoski denied bail. He stated Williams was a flight risk and a danger to the community if he was released.

The probe started March 25 when Bucks County Park Police and the Bucks County Detectives were assigned to look into reports of sexual assaults occurring on county-owned property.

A girl, who is now 16, provided investigators with an 11-minute recording of a phone call she “intercepted” with Williams last September, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Investigators said Williams confirmed the sexual acts on the recording of a conversation.

The girl told investigators the sexual abuse began when she was 11 years old and Williams was 27. She alleged that Williams first made sexual comments before forcing her to perform sex acts and later raping her.

When the girl was age 12 or 13, sexual assaults allegedly happened at an apartment complex in Penndel Borough, law enforcement said.

By the time the girl was 13 or 14, the girl said Williams raped and choked her on county property in Hulmeville Borough, authorities said.

In court papers, the girl recalled Williams telling her no one would believe her and warned her not to report the incidents.

A detective confirmed that call logs matched the date of the recording provided by the girl, court papers stated.
