The Langhorne Borough Planning Commission has scheduled a public meeting for later this month to gather input as officials begin an update to the comprehensive plan.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 30, at 7 p.m. at Borough Hall on Maple Avenue.
Planning commission members are seeking feedback on resident priorities and community values to help shape the document, which serves as the primary blueprint for land use and development in the borough over the next 10 years.
“The Langhorne Borough Comprehensive Plan, most recently updated in 2014, guides land use decisions by affirming the priorities of the community, which form the foundation of our zoning and land use ordinances,” according to a social media post from the borough government.

The plan was last updated in 2014 and acts as a resource for both private sector and public officials.
“It is a resource for public officials and the private sector that helps ensure the preservation of our community’s character throughout future development,” officials said.

Officials update the document every decade to ensure local planning goals remain aligned with shifting land-use realities in Bucks County and evolving housing and economic trends.
Residents are encouraged to attend the session to share their vision for the boroughโs future.
