

A Bristol Township man was arrested Thursday after investigators discovered files allegedly depicting the sexual abuse of children, according to court papers.

Joseph Gladen, 54, of the Levittown section of the township, was charged with child sexual abuse material, dissemination of child sexual abuse material, and criminal use of a communication facility.
The investigation began March 4 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children issued a tip to law enforcement.
According to the report, a Dropbox user had saved 30 video files of suspected abuse material.
Police said some of videos depicted the rape of a child.

Detectives from Bucks County and Bristol Township police tracked the online activity to a residence on Roundwood Lane in the Levittown section of the township.
Investigators said they tied several accounts and devices to Gladen.

Detectives served a search warrant at the home and on a vehicle Thursday morning, police said.
Gladen was arrested Thursday and preliminarily arraigned before District Judge John Galloway. He is being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post 10 percent of a $500,000 bail.
