Falls Twp. Recognizes Longtime Volunteer Firefighter

The Falls Township Board of Supervisors recognized a lifelong resident and longtime volunteer firefighter this week.

Thomas D. Ormond Jr. was honored for 65 years of volunteer service with Levittown Fire Company No. 1.

The supervisors issued a proclamation expressing congratulations and gratitude for his six decades of dedication to the area.

Supervisor Vice Chairperson Erin Mullen read the proclamation honoring Ormond’s milestone of service.

The formal recognition stated Ormand is a resident who makes valuable contributions to the lives of Falls Township citizens through his volunteer work with the fire company.

Levittown Fire Company No. 1 has its station on Falls-Tullytown Road.
