A Montgomery County man is behind bars after allegedly making several calls to the Bucks County 9-1-1 Center and threatening a Bristol Borough police officer who had filed charges against him.

James F. Dicicco, 50, of Blue Bell, was arrested by Bristol Borough police earlier this month on two outstanding warrants.
The charges stem from two separate incidents, according to court papers.
The first happened in October 2025 and involved an alleged intoxicated assault and threats in the borough.
The second warrant was issued in December 2025 after a barrage of phone calls Dicicco allegedly made to the 9-1-1 Center.

According to court documents, the calls began late on Nov. 30 and continued into the early hours of Dec. 1.
Dicicco targeted the officer who investigated his October assault case, per court records.

Police said Dicicco called the officer a “moron” and told him to perform a sex act commonly used as a sign of disrespect.
Dicicco also threatened to punch the officer at a town event and referenced where the office lived, police said.
When a patrol supervisor called Dicicco, the 50-year-old allegedly became more agitated and claimed he was being threatened by federal officials, police said.

Dicicco kept calling and said he hopes a family member of the officer and a 9-1-1 Center staffer dies. He also made a racial slur, police said.
The threats led to Bristol Borough and Bristol Township police watching over the targeted officer’s home, authorities said.

On March 5, Dicicco was preliminarily arraigned before District Judge David Chichilitti in both cases.
In the December case, he faces charges of communication with 9-1-1, reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, harassment, and disorderly conduct.

In the October case, he is charged with terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
The 50-year-old man was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility unable to post bail.

In January 2025, Dicicco pleaded guilty to terroristic threats and harassment after an October 2024 incident at a Bristol Borough restaurant. He had been released on parole after serving time for those charges.
