The checkpoint is scheduled for an undisclosed location in the area between late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
During the checkpoint, troopers will briefly stop vehicles to look for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, according to a statement.
โThe goal of a sobriety checkpoint is to reduce the number of alcohol and drug-related fatal and serious crashes, and to reduce the number of DUI drivers on Pennsylvaniaโs highways,โ state police in Trevose said.

Authorities rarely release the specific locations of these checkpoints to the public or the media in advance.
