Police Investigate ‘Low-Level Threat’ Against High School

Police and Pennsbury School District officials are investigating a “low-level threat” made against Pennsbury High School on Thursday.

Superintendent Dr. Thomas Smith and Principal Reggie Meadows informed parents in a letter that two students reported receiving threatening messages earlier in the day.

One of the messages stated, “Ima bomb yall school.”

District officials said they believe the messages originated from individuals who do not attend Pennsbury High School.

The administration and Falls Township police responded to the messages immediately, the letter said.

Falls Township police are investigating the incident.

“We do not believe there is an ongoing threat to students or staff, and the school day is continuing as normal,” Smith and Meadows said in the letter.

As a precautionary measure, the district requested a police presence at the high school for the rest of Thursday.
