A Bristol woman was injured earlier this month after her vehicle struck a concrete median on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The crash took place at 8:39 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, in the eastbound lanes of the highway in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police troopers, the 37-year-old woman was driving a 2018 Nissan Rogue when she lost control of the SUV.
The vehicle hit a concrete median barrier, which resulted in moderate damage to the Nissan, state police said.

Following the impact, the vehicle came to a rest across the left and middle lanes of the Turnpike, state police said in a press release this week.
The driver, whose name was not released, was transported by the Community Ambulance Association of Ambler to Abington Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

State police confirmed the woman will be cited in connection with the crash.
