Pennsylvania State Police recovered a stolen van early last week in Bristol Township, according to a press release.

A trooper on patrol on I-95 northbound early in the morning of Tuesday, Dec. 2, spotted a 2010 gray Ford Econoline van, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
A check of the van and its license plate in a law enforcement database confirmed that both were reported stolen out of Philadelphia, state police said.
The van was turned over to the Philadelphia Police Department, which is handling the investigation, state police said.

No charges were filed in Bucks County in connection with the van.

The U.S. Department of Transportation issued tips for preventing theft of vehicles:
- Take your vehicle’s key; do not leave it in or on your vehicle.
- Close and lock all windows and doors when you park.
- Park in well-lit areasย if possible.
- Never leave valuables in your vehicle, especially if they can be seen from outside the vehicle.
