The free community event is scheduled to run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and typically draws a big crowd of residents and visitors to the historic borough.
The highlight of the evening is the Christmas tree lighting, with Santa Claus himself presiding over the ceremony. The illumination is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and will take place behind the Richardson House, near the intersection of Bellevue and Maple avenues.
There will be local eateries, vendors, and performers will be part of the event.

In addition to the holiday festivities, Dickens Night serves as an opportunity for charitable giving. Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations, which will be collected for distribution to a local food pantry.
The event will take place regardless of the weather.
