A man wanted in connection with a shooting in Trenton was detained in Falls Township Monday night after a police pursuit ended with his vehicle flipped over.
Alix Eugene, 26, of Trenton, is being held in the Bucks County Correctional Facility as a fugitive from justice after coming before District Judge John Galloway Tuesday morning.

The Trenton Police Department has issued a warrant for Eugene’s arrest in connection with a shooting in the 200 block of Walnut Avenue, police said.
The incident in Bucks County began around 8:50 p.m. Monday when Falls Township police were notified that the Trenton Police Department was pursuing a red BMW sedan involved in a shooting in New Jersey’s capital city.
Trenton police temporarily lost sight of the vehicle but located it moments later after it had crashed and flipped over near the intersection of Woolston Drive and Stony Hill Road in Falls Township, police said.

When Falls Township officers arrived, they found the BMW unoccupied.
Police said they began searching for the driver, who was reportedly seen fleeing the scene on foot toward the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Tyburn Road.

Officers detained Eugene, and he admitted to being the driver of the BMW.

Police said they located an AR-15-style rifle outside of the overturned BMW, according to the court papers.
A police spokesperson said Eugene suffered minor injuries in the crash. He was treated and released from St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township.

One person was in custody after a police chase out of Trenton led to a crash in Falls Township.
According to several sources, a police chase related to a crime in Trenton came through Lower Bucks County late Monday evening.

Around 8:50 p.m., the vehicle went into the woods near the tunnel on Woolston Drive and rolled onto its side, according to dispatch records.
Images from NBC 10’s helicopter showed the vehicle several yards into the woods and on its side.

Officers from Falls Township, Trenton, and surrounding municipalities flooded the area, sources said.
After a few minutes, one person was being detained, a source said.
A Falls Township police spokesperson confirmed to LevittownNow.com that one person was in custody and awaiting a preliminary arraignment before a district judge Tuesday morning.

Woolston Drive and the tunnel leading to Lincoln Highway was blocked for a short time by Falls Township police as officers handle the incident.
