UPDATE: Highway Crash Leaves One Dead
Northbound lanes of the Pennsylvania Turnpike/I-95 remained closed for hours Friday evening after a serious multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Bristol Township in the late afternoon.
The crash was reported around 3:30 p.m. on the highway near the Bristol-Oxford Valley Road overpass in Bristol Township.

While the exact number of vehicles involved was not immediately confirmed, reports from sources and a witness who drove past the scene indicated that more than one vehicle was part of the crash.
Firefighters and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene, along with Pennsylvania State Police.
As of 6:30 p.m. Friday, the northbound highway remained blocked to traffic in the area of the accident.
