Heavy police activity was reported Thursday night in Falls Township’s Morrisville section.
Officers from the Falls Township and Morrisville Borough police department rushed to the 1600 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue shortly before 9 p.m., according to a source.
The police activity was triggered by a report of a shooting in the area, the source said.

A Philadelphia Police Department helicopter was dispatched to the scene but returned to the city by 9:45 p.m.
Police advised nearby residents to remain inside their homes as the incident unfolded.
