Free Financial Wellness Expo Coming To Area

The Credit Counseling Center (CCC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to financial independence, will host its 2025 Homeowner and Consumer Services Expo.

The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The free public event will take place at the Linksz Pavilion on the campus of Bucks County Community College in Newtown Township.

Attendees will have a unique opportunity to connect with local professionals and contractors, ask questions about home projects, and explore services in finance, real estate, insurance, and home improvement and maintenance.

In a special offering, several Bucks County government offices will provide direct, on-site assistance. Participating offices include the Consumer Protection Office, the Tax Claim Office, the Treasury Office, the Prothonotary, and the Workforce on Wheels (WOW) program.

“The Expo is about empowerment—connecting people directly to the resources and professionals that can help them protect their homes and strengthen their financial foundation,” said Paula Powers-Watts, the executive director of Credit Counseling Center.

Powers-Watts noted that many Credit Counseling Center clients establish a financial plan through the center before seeking referrals for professional services.

“This Expo is a natural next step—it brings those experts directly to the community,” she added.

The event will feature a Financial Literacy Break-Out Session presented by Provident Bank. Wehrung’s, the presenting sponsor, is providing free T-shirts and donating a Weber Outdoor Grill for a raffle drawing. The opening ceremony will include a presentation of the flag by the Bensalem High School ROTC.

For more than 30 years, CCC has served Bucks County and Southeastern Pennsylvania by providing financial literacy education, housing and homebuyer counseling, and one-on-one financial support.
