A plan to convert a vacant PNC Bank branch into a Dunkin’ drive-thru coffee and doughnut shop has been proposed.

MYNB LLC, a Dunkin’ franchisee, submitted an application with Falls Township recently to repurpose the former bank at 301 West Trenton Avenue.
The plan seeks to capitalize on the existing drive-thru area. It proposes using the former bank’s drive-thru setup while making only minimal changes to the building’s exterior.
The application was expected to be reviewed by the Falls Township Planning Commission Tuesday evening, but the applicant did not attend the scheduled meeting. The plan has been postponed and will be addressed at next month’s meeting.

“It exists as a drive-thru bank so they’re not changing anything to the exterior of the building. They’re just renovating it for Dunkin Donuts and leaving the rest of the infrastructure in place,” Township Engineer Joseph Jones said.
The proposal comes after a push by Dunkin’ in recent years to have franchisees to either incorporate drive-thru windows into existing locations or secure new spots where drive-thru windows can be added.
