A 17-year-old Fairless Hills boy driving an SUV struck the pedestrian in a crosswalk in the area of South Oxford Valley Road and Trenton Road in Falls Township, police said.

The preliminary investigation found the crash took place around 6:45 a.m. when the driver, who was operating a Saturn SUV, was stopped on Trenton Road for a red light. The teen was turning left onto South Oxford Valley Road when he hit a 39-year-old Fairless Hills woman who was walking across Trenton Road in the crosswalk, police said.

The woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township for evaluation and treatment, police said.
