Quartet Returns For Fallsington Library Fundraiser

The Fallsington Library will hold its third annual Fall Concert Fundraiser. It will feature a return performance by the Fiddlehead String Quartet.

The Saturday, Oct. 25, event will raise money for the library’s programming, which includes year-round STEAM programs, a summer activity and reading program, and a monthly train club.

The popular Fiddlehead String Quartet will perform an hour-long concert on the Falls Township library’s second-floor stage followed by refreshments, games, and the finale of an online auction.

The library has raised a combined $13,000 from the two previous annual galas.

The online auction will feature more than a dozen items, with bidding starting on Fallsington Day, Oct. 11, at 8:30 a.m.

The bidding will conclude on Oct. 25 at 8:30 p.m. at http://go.rallyup.com/fallsingtonlibrary2025.

Items available for bid include handmade pottery, jewelry, vintage décor, musical instruments, a gift card for Parx Casino VIP night out, a four-pack of admission tickets for Moravian Pottery and Tileworks, two tickets for the Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Keswick Theater, a Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve family membership, Shady Brook Farm gift cards, tickets for Smoke & Mirrors magic theater, Longwood Gardens passes, and restaurant gift cards.

Fallsington Library Executive Director Charlene Rendeiro encouraged attendees to embrace the optional, but suggested, theme.

“Fancy dress is optional, but encouraged,” Rendeiro said. “The theme is upstage the bride (of Frankenstein).”

The fundraiser will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Oct. 25. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the Fallsington Library, 139 Yardley Avenue in Fallsington.
