UPDATE: Man Jailed After Tuesday Trespassing Incident At Pennsbury High School
Falls Township police detained a man Tuesday morning after he allegedly trespassed on the campus of Pennsbury High School.
The man was taken into custody at approximately 8 a.m. at the High School East Campus, according to a letter sent to parents by Pennsbury High School Principal Reggie Meadows and Superintendent Thomas Smith.

Falls Township police Lt. Chris Clark confirmed there “was a trespasser on school property this morning” and that the man is in police custody. Clark added that more information would be released later.
According to the school administration’s letter, the person had been interacting with students and a maintenance staff member earlier in the morning, “asking them questions about how ‘they can be involved in the school.’”
The letter stated that the students and staff members involved felt the individual was “acting irrationally” and immediately reported the interactions.”

Police were called to the high school and detained the man.
The district dealt with a threat incident late last week and police from several municipalities increased their presence at the campus.

The situation is “not related to the comments last week,” the school officials wrote.
Meadows and Smith commended the students and staff for their “quick actions” and thanked police for their “quick response.”
Police will “remain on campus until further notice,” the letter stated .
