An additional $100,000 will fund 100 more scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year.

The donation, which is made through the Gene and Marlene Epstein Humanitarian Fund, will provide need-based scholarships to 100 full-time, first-year students to cover education-related expenses.

“Figuring out how to pay for college should not be a barrier for a young person who wants to make a better life for themselves,” Epstein said earlier this month. “We want every student in Bucks County to know that there is a path forward for them at Bucks County Community College, and this scholarship will help them get started today. Don’t think you can afford college? Well, now you can!”

Epstein and community college officials on Monday unveiled a new gateway sign at the campus, located along Veterans Highway (Route 413).

The campus opened in 2006 as the Bucks County Community College Lower Bucks Campus and was renamed in 2016 to honor a donation from the Epstein Humanitarian Fund. In 2022, the campus expanded with the addition of the Center for Advanced Technologies at the site.
