According to the state transportation department, Edgely and Woodbourne roads will be milled, repaired, and repaved. In addition, some utility work will be carried out.
Flaggers will be in place on Edgely and Woodbourne roads between Route 13 and Cobalt Ridge Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. from next Monday, Aug. 18, through Friday, Aug. 22.
Drivers are asked to allow extra time when through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.

The scheduled work is weather dependent.
PennDOT’s contractor will be repaving the roadway to give drivers “a safer and smoother riding surface,” a statement said.

The work is part of more than 200 miles of state-owned highways and roads being repaved in the five-county Philadelphia region this summer.
