Drivers can expect lane closures in both directions of Route 1 between Fairhill Avenue and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Interchange.

The lane closures will be in effect from Sunday, July 13, through Friday, July 18, between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning.

PennDOT advises drivers to allow for extra travel time when navigating through the work zone.

The paving is part of the broader Route 1 overhaul project, with the first two phases currently underway.

Planning is also in progress for the third phase, which will extend from the Penndel/Business Route 1 Interchange north through the Pine Street (Route 413) overpass in Langhorne Borough, Langhorne Manor Borough, and Middletown Township.
